Every November, Gukin recruits a new cohort from early-admission pre-university students who have already been accepted. School, major, and whether you're retaking your college entrance exam don't matter, and no school recommendation is required.
The first-round document review looks at your application answers for an understanding of and enthusiasm for what Gukin does. The second-round interview takes place in Seoul in early January, with a one-minute English self-introduction and a short Q&A, and final results are announced the same day.
Selected new members join the January domestic training and overseas training, becoming one cohort.
